Mar 08, 2010 // Photoblog+ Travel

San Fran

Sorry for not updating in such a long time. I think I will be taking periodic hiatuses for the next couple months as I have a packed schedule as far as traveling goes. This past weekend from Thursday – Sunday I was in Berkeley, California as well as San Francisco for an Model United Nations conference. First off, amazing trip, I loved the location of the hotel, the atmosphere, the people and THE FOOD. yummm. I have well over 100 pictures but do not feel like uploading all of them on this blog. Here are some photos I enjoyed though

Some highlights of the trip was the delicious family owned food joints. Every once in a while, what makes a trip so unique is the food of that city. Berkeley had amazing food choices to some restaurants I have never heard of before such as Topdog, Blondies, Peets coffee, Hoagies burgers, Gypsys and the list goes on. The city had so much character and on average all these businesses were authentic with over 50 years of experience. I loved it. Something new to try everyday! Also, I won an award for commendation at the conference itself which was a cool addition to the trip. Thank you to my roommates and Gahr MUN trip buddies for making this trips really awesome!
